Amp 1

Upgrading a 1980s 150 watt HH MA150 PA amplifier with a modern 200W MOSFET module. Left to right, top and bottom: 1) Detach original vertically mounted driver board from chassis. 2) Unsolder board and remove TO3 output transistors. 3) Prepare for slot in cross brace to take new horizontal amplifier module. 4) Create slot

Amp 2

1) 200W amplifier module in place, and new wiring tied. 2) New heatsink, sized, drilled and fitted. 3) Overall view of completed work after testing. 4) Cover-boards refitted, and a view of the famous HH green glow! Note that the power of the new board was limited by the transformer supply voltage, and the actual output measured 180 watts @ 4 ohms
